My lil Monkey is 18 mos :)

Head: 19.5 cm (not real sure on this since he wouldn't hardly let the nurse put the tape around his head)
Height: 34 1/4 inches tall (above 90th percentile)
Weight: 27.3 lbs (50th percentile)

He shot up 1 3/4" from his 15 month appointment (many of his pants are too short now lol). His doctor said he could weigh a little bit more but she's not that worried about it. The kid eats like a horse and is constantly on the move so it's not for lack of trying! I just have a busy little bee :)

He still loves Black Beauty (I don't know how many times he's watched it now)!! He also LOVES to be outside playing. We go over to the farm on the weekend to see the cows (of which he has NO FEAR), he runs right up to the big cows and could really care less about the calves. I sure am going to have my work cut out for me this summer at the fairs!!

15 Month Check-Up

His check up was in December (sorry so late!) and went well - he is right where he needs to be.

Head: 19.5 cm
Weight: 24.5 lbs - around 50th or just under
Height: 32.5 inches - above 90th

Our little man is growing like a weed! Running around like a crazy man half the time shouting 'GO, GO' and we are up to 16 teeth...I think - the stinker bites down whenever I put my finger in to feel his teeth and even has the audacity to laugh while he's doing it! All I know for sure is he's got 8 on the top at least 6 on the bottom (I'm pretty sure he has 2 more but the fear of losing an appendage keeps me from finding out).

He has a love for horses and cows (well pretty much any farm animal), he loves the movie Black Beauty (1994, live version) and is constantly learning new words and tricks!

1 Yr Stats

I realize I need to post more often and I have TONS of pictures/events to post and I'll get there I promise! But for now - here are Lane's 1 year stats,

Head: 19
Weight: 22 lbs - just below 50th%
Height: 32" - above 90th%

He is starting to toddle around - I wouldn't call it full on walking since he's 50/50 on the whole crawling/walking thing, but he is definitely getting more adventurous w/ walking around the house.

9 Month Stats

the 9 Month well visit was yesterday - here's the stats:

Height: 30" - 90th percentile
Weight: 19 lb, 11 oz - slightly below 50th percentile
Head: 17 1/2 (shrank 1/4") Can babies heads really do this lol????

The Hair Cut....

Last Sunday I took it upon myself to give my lil' man a much needed hair cut. He was getting a little shaggy. Here is a before picture:

1st Farm Visit

Lane had his first farm visit last week, the older calves weren't quite sure what to think of him and the younger heifer came right up to him to check him out. He also got to ride a Hereford heifer.

Easter

We had a great 1st Easter w/ the lil man! The Easter Bunny brought Lane some Puffs baby snacks and Alice in Wonderland (he also brought some chocolate for Mom & Dad). We had an Easter Egg hunt w/ cousins Paige & Camden at the Kocher Easter celebration - which really involved Jay carrying Lane around and picking up the eggs for him.
